Hornets prop Mickey Edwards featured in an article on sporting superstitions in the Mail on Sunday last month(Sept. 2000) Mickey revealed that he places a small model of Thomas the Tank engine down his sock before every game.

He appeared alongside sporting luminaries such as Michael Schumaher, Bjorn Borg, Tiger Woods and Paul Ince.

Why he does it remains a mystery. We shall try to find out the answer. If anyone know the real answer then please e-mail the site.
