Whitehaven's Leroy Joe has been banned for three matches and fined £100 for a high tackle that saw Dave Stephenson hospitalised with concussion and a suspected broken jaw. Three matches and a hundred quid? He could have ended Stevo's career!

The blatant assault which effectively turned the game has been described by Martin Hall and Keith Macklin alike as possibly the worst 'tackle' they've ever seen.

Speaking with Stevo at the weekend, he tells rochdalehornets.com that he'd feeling much better, but his face is still numb and he also injured his hamstring in the incident
