Hot on the heels of the Law Cup, Hornets will play Chorley Lynx in a pre-season friendly on January 5th. The game will take place at Chorley's Victory Park. Coached by ex-Hornet Darren Abram (remember THAT try in the Lancashire Cup Final), Chorley have undergone a rennaissance, signing lots of useful players that should make them a real force in National League 2. Reported in today's press, Hally says the game will give him the chance to run the rule over a couple of players he's been looking at. "All of our squad should get a run-out", he says.
