Hornets have come under pressure in recent weeks after a cheque for gate receipts to Hull KR bounced and a payment to their own players was delayed.

But club directors have remained confident that they can turn the situation round during the close season.

Hornets currently have only two players contracted for next season -young backs Casey Mayberry and Mick Nanyn.
