"I've played with Matt at Huddersfield - he's a hard working forward who will do an absolutely great job in the pack," Goulding told TotalRL.com.

"He's got a lot of experience, and will help the young lads along with Lee Hansen and Darren Shaw.

"Richard Varkulis is a young, up and coming kid who is a big unit. I just can't wait to start working with both of them."

Sturm and Varkulis, who both have squad numbers in Paul Cullen's ranks for Super League IX, will join for four week's initially, with Goulding hoping
to extend their deals for longer.

"We will discuss after this month what we do then," Goulding added.

"Warrington have given us these players on loan and I'd like to thank them and Paul Cullen. Now I hope they have a good year, steer clear of injuries
and we can have these two for a bit longer."
