Darren Abram is expecting a massive response from under-pressure Halifax after their 38-18 reverse at Keighley last week.
Abram is preparing his side for an arm wrestle in the final Group Five clash of the Northern Rail Cup.
He said: “Anthony Farrell will have laid some foundations down for them and he’ll be looking for more desire and enthusiasm this week. We’ll be expecting a kick-back from them.
“I would like to change things after our midweek over Keighley but it is a case of who’s fit and who can play.”
Casey Mayberry and Paul Norman are both doubts for Hornets, while Halifax’s injury crisis continues to hit the club.
Dale Holdstock, Lee Harland, Radney Bowker, Keith Heckenberg and brothers Nick and Richard Johnson are all sidelined, while Damian Gibson, Ryan MacDonald and Andy Spink are also struggling.
