28/04/2006 Spotland Pitch Appeal is Launched
As most people in Rugby League know, the pitch at Spotland Stadium - home to Rochdale Hornets and Rochdale AFC - has, this year, deteriorated to the point where even the slightest rainfall has resulted in postponements.
With work to repair the pitch now given the green light, the Hornets Independent Supporters' Association - the Hornets Nest Egg - has teamed up with its football counterpart to help raise funds towards the cost of the long-awaited repair works to the Spotland pitch.
