I know we had a ball or should that be bowl!!(I`ll get my coat)

I think everybody had a great night and good to see some new faces as well.

For the record the overall winner was Olwyn who won a toaster(and a loaf to go with it!) donated by Deb.

Runner up was Tommy who received a bottle of champagne donated by Jim.

Highest child score was won by Callum how received £10 donated by Julie(Mrs Shoelaces).

Best child effort was Laura who also received £10 donated by Lol.

Youngest bowler trophy was won by Jack(six year old) donated by Chris.

There was also loads of raffle prizes and thank you to all who donated them.

Thank you to Strike Ten Bowl who allowed us to do the raffle to all the lanes in the bowling alley, not just Hornets fans. Also the buffet Strike Ten laid on was fantastic, far better than we had hope for and certainly went down well with everybody.

A special mention for the DJ who helped with the raffle and really turned the night into a special event.

The whole point of the evening was to raise funds, and we are handing over £250.00 right away from money raised we also have enough left over to have a healthy float for future events.So all in all a big success on all fronts.

We are hoping to stage another quiz night in May before the Brickcroft Concert in June.

So thank you everybody who helped make last night such a resounding success.
