New Hornets’ boss Shaun Gartland takes control for the first time tonight knowing a win will take the team two places further up the table.

Shaun will have to re-jig the team after it was announced by Leigh that 1st team regulars Chris Giles and Dave McConnell have signed for them.

Dewsbury’s new signing Sid Domic could also make his debut, although Dewsbury are playing a cat and mouse game as to whether he will play!

The bookmakers have Dewsbury down as favourites, giving Hornets +4 start. It was apparently +2 but some canny folk in Yorkshire must have had this week’s housekeeping on a Dewsbury win! (Hopefully they will be on bread and dripping for the rest of the week)
