Sundays Law Cup game against Oldham has been postponed due to the adverse weather.

It has been rearranged for 7.30pm Kick Off at Spotland for this coming Wednesday the 6th of January.

The Police contacted the Soccer Club  to instruct them that todays Soccer fixture shouldnt go ahead on safety grounds, even before the state of the was taken into account.

The Hornets contacted Oldham who agreed to the new date, with Wednesday being the best option to give the pitch as much time as possible to thaw.

Coach John Stankevitch though obviously disappointed will work with the squad to ensure the team is ready for the Wednesday night match.

We will ensure fans will be updated as much as possible on the state of the pitch and preparations for Wednesday.

Hornets would like to thank Chris Hamilton for his assistance and co-operation in facilitating the new date at such short notice.
