Phil Collinson, the head groundsman at Spotland Stadium, has requested help from fans in shovelling snow from the pitch on Saturday and Sunday. In order to get the pitch playable for the fixtures next weekend, the snow needs to be removed from the covers. Supporters are asked to bring their own shovels and wheelbarrows if possible, as the equipment is broken and there are none available in stores. Anyone who can help is asked to go to the entrance between the Main Stand and the TDS stand from 9am on both Saturday and Sunday. All help is really appreciated.
