The Swarm team also gave commemorative match balls to Mark Wynn and David Ramsbottom for services to the Swarm.

The Swarm then presented Janan Billings with a Swarm polo shirt to thank him for presenting our trophies. A special thanks to Janan who was there all night staying to the death and really got into the Swarm spirit, top class bloke!

Finally have to mention the act Paul Chance, he was absolutely fantastic. 100% got what the Swarm are all about, had the room rocking. Everyone said he was fabulous.

The inaugural Presentation Night for the Rochdale Swarm is to take place tonight (Saturday the 18th of October) with a 7.30pm start, at The Firgrove Working Mens Club, Milnrow.

The entertainment is a Live Act, also a Hot Pie Supper, the usual raffle etc and the Swarm players trophies to be presented by a Hornets Star.

Just a quick reminder that with the dark nights closing in, The Swarm training is now on Sunday mornings, 11.00 a.m. Firgrove, Milnrow. All welcome.

After last Sunday’s great victory over Keighley, the Swarm made it a double with a 54-26 victory against the Wakefield City Webcats. The day also saw the new kit make its debut.
